What wonderful overnight safari this was, a 2 day trip filled with exciting sightings for this couple from bonnie Scotland.

Gill and Duncan started their 2-day safari on the waters of Algoa Bay, Port Elizabeth where they were treated to fantastic close-up views of African penguins, bottlenose dolphins and even a hammerhead shark! As the boat circled St. Croix Island they stopped to watch a sub-Antarctic fur seal, which is a rare find as this is a visitor to our area.

Thrilled with the marine experience, the guests prepared themselves for more delights on their 35minute drive to Addo Elephant National Park. Soon after entering, a large elephant bull made his way towards the vehicle, what a sight with the dunes and ocean (the very waters they were on earlier) in the background.

Some more exciting elephant herds, buffalo, zebra and kudu sightings were enjoyed as well as many birds and even some small predators before a dusty sunset and overnight in the chalets of the main camp in the Park.

After another game drive they made their way to the Woody Cape section of Addo Elephant National Park to explore the remote, spiritual Alexandria sand dunes and indigenous forest. Gill and Duncan were taken back to their place of residence in Port Elizabeth after an enlightening overnight trip of the diverse Greater-Addo Elephant National Park, Eastern Cape.
